Kathmandu – The Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal organized a scholarship award ceremony today at the Radisson Hotel in Kathmandu, where 200 Nepali students were awarded scholarships under the Embassy’s ongoing education support program.
Member of Parliament Ek Nath Dhakal attended the event as the Chief Guest, joining His Excellency Ambassador Abrar H. Hashmi and Political and Education Counsellor Mr. Iqbal Haider in presenting the scholarship awards to deserving students from various backgrounds, schools, and age groups.
In his address, Lawmaker Dhakal praised the Embassy of Pakistan for its continued commitment to promoting education in Nepal. He congratulated the scholarship recipients and encouraged them to value their education, remain focused in their studies, and contribute positively to society.
Now in its 13th year, the Pakistan Embassy’s Scholarship Program has been providing financial assistance to hundreds of Nepali students, helping improve access to quality education across the country.
Lawmaker Dhakal is a Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal and serves on the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the Federal Parliament. He is also the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) at the international level.
